The best Mortal Kombat thing I saw on the big screen of a theater was the teaser advertisement for Mortal Kombat II (the game). It looked fucking cool.
Since that the movie have been a let down although the first one is half way decent except for the boring fight scenes.
The second one improves one thing by having Sandra Hess as Sonja, she was acutally able to sell some of the action but otherwise this movie is pretty lame. Brian Thompson looks good as the bad guy and I can't complain about Talsa Soto or Mussetta Vander. The movie had it's chances but the CGI monster fight at the end killed it.
