While I'm not too fond of Family Guy, I do love Futurama. Sucks big time that it was cancelled!

From what I understand, Futurama was killed almost completely for personal reasons. Fox didn't have complete control over the show, so they killed it. Also there were personal disagreements between Fox people and the futurama crew.
