In the Spirit of Christmas...

Post by Tsyroc »

I just had to pick up one of the Hallmark Death Star ornaments today. It lights up and has a nifty sound effect.
As you can see, my young apprentice, your friends have failed.
Now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational battle station!
Fire at will commander!
After that it has a nice powering up sound then it fires ending with a explosion. Most of it sounds like it was taken from RotJ.

Perfect for the holiday season.

You can play the sound and look at the other SW ornaments by clicking below.

I was kind of surprised when I saw it since it's not the most PC thing to have a Death Star Christmas ornament. :D

The SW figure ornaments looked nice although they were a little big for a tree if you ask me.

I have my SW and ST ornaments strung on lights in my gaming room. It's so cool. I can't wait to get the DS.

I think Slave-1 and the NX-01 Enterprise are supposed to be available in November otherwise I think most of the SW and ST ornaments are out already.

Did they ever put out an ISD, or do you know if one is pending?

Kind of a misleading picture -- there are not pinpoint lights as seen on the photo. :(

Sorry I don't know if they ever put one out.

From what I saw today it doesn't look like they are putting one out this year.

The SW ornaments I saw:

Death Star
Slave-1
Luke (black outfit with green sabre)
Darth Vader
Obi-Wan (AoTC style)
Jango Fet

No ISD yet. I'd love to see one. Perhaps since they've done the 2nd DS, they may do the Excelsior.

How about an asymmetrrical ornament that won't stay upright? Anyway, the DS ornament looks good. How much did it cost?

That would be the X-Wing figure. It's back heavy. The Enterprises are that way too.
