Anyone watching The Crow tonight or tommorrow?

Post by Lord_Xerxes »

Probably one of the greatest movies ever made. Just wondering whether or not you other board-goers like it. Since it's the day before Halloween, wondering if anyone is sharing the same idea of watching it for the event. Other than the SW movies, it's probably my favorite movie.

My roomate and I are watching it right now. It's just one of those movies that never gets old.

I'll probably watch The Thing or End of Evangelion.

Mmm. Anime will be another thing I'll be watching today. My friend is comming over with some of his Slayer's collection. Love that series. Probably my favorite other than Tenchi.

Plus I have the day off today, and I've been up all night (insomnia, I'm sure you can relate), so I've got nothing better to do than watch movies and shit. At least until I pick up Vice City later.

That's what I was thinking about. I have never seen the Crow and happen to think about renting it to watch. Maybe I'll rent it and watch it tomorrow.

I was planning on having an Evil Dead marathon but the ones I ordered still haven't come. Stupid post office.

Alright, I just got done watching 'The Crow'. I heard the two sequels sucked so I didn't rent them. The Crow was pretty good, I think it could have been better. But it was still a good movie. Now to watch Panic Room and Queen of the Damned. Doesn't look like I'll get to watch my Ghostbusters DVD before Halloween is over.

The Crow would have been better if Brandon Lee hadn't died so that they were forced to use CGI and other effects to complete the movie.

Bah that's not the reason. Brandon Lee's tragic and untimely death had nothing to do with the poorly written script.

The more I watch Queen of the Damned the weaker the movie seems to me.

However...the DVD is still really cool. There are the 3 music videos with Lestat's band that are used in the film. There's one music video by Static X and there are two extended concert scenes from the film that are cool.

The other extras (deleted scenes, making the music) are pretty good too.

Hey, I didn't think the script was that poorly written. It had a couple of problems but wasn't totally poor. Besides, it wasn't really about the script.
