This festival has been going on the last couple of days here in Tucson. There's been a bit of a stink because about $2700 of public money went to support it.
The questions about things being "art" are coming up as usual. There's also been talk about if violating local obscenity laws but supposedly it is okay because it is being held in a privately owned building.
The one thing that I thought was a little odd was the local free entertainment paper was saying that one of the things that would be demonstrated at the festival is "fistint".
Someone would demonstrate that in public?
