IIRC, Eris was a minion of Ares', not a true god/dess.

Coolest Fantasy Deity: Paladine and his alter-ego Fizban the Fabulous. Big ass plantinum dragon that upholds all that is good and law, then you have a bumbling old Wizard. Half-goober, Half Ultimate Supremo.

Coolest "reality" Deity: The Abrahamic god, since is uber powers whooped up on all the rest. Laughs at all the others who cower in they ruined temples. Give him a cigarette, leather jacket, and shades. Biggest bully on the block.

I can't believe no one has yet to say it:

Hmm. Everything I've seen says otherwise.

Dunno. I ran a search on it, and some of the art looks familiar, but I don't remember reading anything by them specifically.

I have read Ravenhurst, though.

From the choices, I voted for Brahma.
Brahma refers to the spiritual reality underlying all phenomena, and is sometimes personified as a god. Brahma emerged from the golden egg created by the waters of chaos and established every universe
I always liked that. Running around, doing whatever it is that gods do and came across this big mess of chaos..."Say, that gives me an idea"

Other cool dieties:
Shiva - the dancing deity of creation and destruction (the god of the mosh pit)
Thor - god of storm and thunder (I like Loki too, but Thor is one helluva ass kicker)
Thoth - the god of learning ( a good deity for the terminally curious)

and one naughty deity for good measure:
Ishtar -the Babylonian goddess of sexuality. haha she sanctified temple prostitution...(oh, such a good boy, always going to church)

Odin's cool, The Mythos are cool, So's the whole Hindu Drahma (I mean Shiva just kicks ass, far better then Jehova and Odin put together), now The Rada (Voodoo Quatra, five if you count Carroufluor/Lucifer (Trickster, freedom, and "Evil")) are kickass, as is Amasutra of Japan, and one should forget that utterly Nasty incestious lot that used to govern Egypt. Though My vote is for Mythras (I mean the Christians STOLE christmass from him and Odin), Not to mention, any religion that requires you to BBQ a bull every new moon can't be all that bad.)

You could always add in Aphrodite...

Now I like the sound of that. Praise the lord, and pass the ribs.

Yeah, she's a cutie, and closer to the ideals of love, but I figured any deity that uses garter belts for collection plates is worth a vote

(edit: cleaned up my sloppy bbcoding  )
