Database glitch?

Yeah, yesterday I registered the account name Grand Admiral Aya (don't ask me why, but I like the way it sounds:P) and when I clicked the activation link that came in the email, I got this message "The activation key you supplied does not match any in the database" and when I copied and pasted the url into my browser, I got this message "Sorry but no such user exists."

Anyways, I registered this account with an old email address to see if the forums just plain hated me, and well, as you can see, the activation code worked. So, I was wondering if this was infact a database glitch (someone I know from another forum that goes to this one mentioned that something like this happened before)?

With that out of the way, how long did you wait before proceeding with activation? Sometimes those things do take a while. Otherwise you might want to consider PMing the board admin (Wong).

*Ahem* Yeah, I know my name is the same as Aya Brea, but I chose the name because it's the name of a character, from Weib Kreuz. heck, I had to have a admin at another forum change my Aya name to something else, since people started thinking I was a girl. Anyways, I really wanted to use my Grand Admiral name. =\

Anyways, I remember playing a Marvel fighting game years ago at the local arcade, it was various characters (like Ironman, Hulk, etc) and that tentacle thing was in the game, hard as heck to beat it too.
