For a while we had plans to spend Christmas in Cambodia, but those fell through. Now I'm just going to stay home.

What's so fun in Cambodia?

There's Angkor Wat, for one. Aside from that there are some people we know. And let's not forget the thrill of visiting a genuine 3rd-world country.

I see. I'm not that much into travelling, but I can appreciate great landscapes when i can find them.

This year I finally have a good excuse to not see anyone over the Christmas holiday.

I probably won't be going anywhere, I prefer staying at home for the holidays. The only time I went somewhere for the holidays was a few years back when I went to D.C.

My mom was throwing out the idea of going to Argentina, because she knows someone there. It's so crazy there with the economy, nobody will want to go, and tickets will be cheap! Still, I'd rather go during the summer, even if it means I'll miss their summer and all the girls in bikinis.

Also on Cambodia, did you hear the story of that mother who nailed her daughter's foot to the floor?

Hmmm, I assume we are speaking of the late-December holidays? Let me see, then....

Dec. 25th, Christmas, Celebration of birth of Jesu Criste: I'm not a Christian, but I like presents and the change in the air in terms of Xmas tree smell and how people are actually nice and considerate for once. Not sure yet what I'm going to do, but will probably be with family. Bah humbug.

Dec. 26th, Kristinmas, Celebration of me (not my birth, just me): Will be receiving lots of love, presents, etc. from friends and family in honour of this momentous day. This I can do anywhere, but I will probably be somewhere in Maryland doing so.

Dec. 29th-Jan. 1st, New Year's Festivities: Going someplace undecided (Atlantic City, NJ? Portland, ME? Myrtle Beach, NC? Mont Tremblant, Quebec?) with the crew that I just spent Thanksgiving with. Should be sooooooooo much fun.
