And I horrendously defeated two revolts in Portugal, taking no prisoners (in order to get the "scant mercy" quality).

The false Germanic Emperor will soon know defeat and the Anglos tremble at my name. The princes of Eastern Europe and the savage kings of the frozen north tremble at my name and pay tribute to my crown. In time, they, too, will bow before the might of my vast armies.

I shall go forth and avenge the defeat at Tours, driving deep into Catholic Europe as my Turcoman allies erase the Orthodox. As the first Caliphs failed to spread past France and Constantinople, so shall I succeed!

Anyway, I'm planning on establishing Byzantine Hegemony as soon as I finish the Almohad campaign.

Forgive my ignorance, but what game is this?

IIRC, it's a turn-based wargame with real-time battle sequences; i.e. you start a battle and control it as one would control a battle in an RTS.

Obviously, set in the medieval period.
