Ever have one of those days where you decide to update a website you haven't updated in a few months? You have a HUGE update planned, ya update it...and find error after error after error....

Then say, "fuck it, I'll do it later...."

You need to organize your website. Make some sub-directories, section everything out.

Stay organized in the first place, and I don't think you'll run into any problems.

I have a geocities site I have not updated since like 1998 except to dump digital photos there.

I use sitecopy on Linux. Organizes everything neatly and smoothly, and I've never had a problem even after a months-long hiatus.

Mind you, I'm pretty well organized on the computer front, so I may be atypical.
