Thanks for the friendly greeting, Zaia. It's lovely to formally meet you too. :D

I'm around quite frequently, but I don't post all that much, only when I feel I've something to contribute.
it makes me soooooooo happy that you think the psychobitch gf is on her way out. I want to think so too, but I'm afraid of jinxing it and finding a wedding announcement for them in my mailbox tomorrow, you know? *chuckle* Maybe I'm just a bit paranoid.... Ah, well. I rather think she's on the way out too. *crosses fingers*
I'm speaking from the experience of being on the receiving end of that treatment, and it's not something that's good for a relationship, friendships with other people or even your health in the long run. That's why the prediction, I know how he feels if he's anything like a normal guy, which is why I'm so sure. But your fear isn't completely invalid, that's why I suggested subtle prods. Because the bitch is a problem, he'll pick up on any and every clue, even subtle ones, as to how he should deal with it, especially ones that point to a permanent solution, but frontal assault is the very worst strategy. Subtle prods that leave him in the dark about your real motive until the problem is solved are the way to go.

Then, after that is out of the way, the suggested reality check I outlined above...

I'm glad I could give you something to laugh about in any case. :D

Zaia,
Bit of advice about the handcuffs (ah, something I can give advice on)

They hurt. Even the ones with muppet skin wrapped around them, for some reaosn the metal still rubs on your wrist bones. Fork out for some lether shackles - they're much more confortable around the wrists, ankles/ wherever they'll fit.
or just use a dressing gown cord.

And people can sometimes get lucky. If I told you how I met my boyf, you'd probably hit me, but eyes and a crowded room were involved.

Yes, I suppose. I've decided to talk to him about the forcing the alcohol part, so, even though I don't see him doing anything like this ever again, it'll pretty much guarantee that he won't ever do it again. Just in case.

About the alcohol, yes. About my feelings for him, no. Not yet, anyway. If/when he and the gf break up, I will certainly consider it.

Excellent plan. *salutes* Muchas gracias, amigo! :D

Hmmm, that's a pity, because I really liked the idea of cold metal and locks. I still want to get some, but perhaps I'll just have to expand my collection to include shackles as well. Thanks for the info!

I believe in that sort of thing. I don't refer to it as luck, because I don't believe in luck, but I certainly wouldn't hit you.

Just a small reply to the "he restrained you and made you drink *gasp*" crowd.

How many times have you done really stupid things with friends of yours? How many times have you done something that might have pissed them off? You all are acting as if this was some kind of assault when it is the same kind of thing each of us does a dozen times a year without fail, it is part of being a human that we do impulsive things and asking him to apologize when it turned out to be enjoyable would be like asking someone to apologize for taking you on a cross state trip that was the greatest time of your life...but they took off on the spur of the moment. Its not the best analogy but you are being really excessive I think, actually the word i'm looking for is overprotective. We aren't Zaia's parents, she's a woman who can make up her own mind and if it was something that wasn't enjoyable then yes she should make him apologize but you guys are being far more offended than she is and it happened to her...doesn't that seem just a BIT wrong to you all?

Anyway Zaia continued good luck with this, keep dropping them hints :)

Thank you, CmdrWilkens. It's not that I don't appreciate what they're saying, because I do; it's just that I feel like it really wasn't that big of a deal because I trust him. *shrug* I like the fact that people are looking out for me, though. :D

Anyway, thank you all for your help. I hope something comes of it.
