My brother, who has $4,000 USD in the bank, apparently feels the
need to pirate games from his Something Awful friends, and has
installed Virtual CD on this computer, and I have a sneaking suspicion
that it is fucking over my CD-RW drive and preventing me
from doing successful burns....
How the fuck do I uninstall this hell-spawned software?

our stuff to that drive, and then completely wiping this system and then
installing Windows 98SE......Dell never gave us Windows ME install discs,
just damn worthless "system restore" discs that are now worthless, thanks
to the GeForce 4 we have installed instead of the default ATI Radeon it
originally shipped with...

Windows 98SE roxors. lol. I use Win98SE, best damn thing out there. I never used Win2k though. My rents have XP on thier comp and from everything I can tell, it blows. Oh, and btw, Dude, you've got a Dell!

2K's good, but you have to know how to tweak it.DG_Cal_Wright wrote:Windows 98SE roxors. lol. I use Win98SE, best damn thing out there. I never used Win2k though. My rents have XP on thier comp and from everything I can tell, it blows. Oh, and btw, Dude, you've got a Dell!
I used Win98 Original for the longest time; saw no reason to upgrade to SE since it offered nothing new that I couldn't get elsewhere.

That's just how mine came with SE. Great thing though, it had a damn 98SE disc instead of a recovery disc. Boo yah. Made it so much easier when I built this one.
