That's what I thought. Christopher Lloyd made a great Klingon.RadiO wrote:

I wish that the Klingons in TNG were more like their STIII counterparts - they were genuinely nasty, used their technology to the full and used firearms (gasp!). Yeah, they made mistakes, but that was just one ship's complement whose errors can't be considered representitive of the Klingon race as a whole.
TNG's Klingons were castrated at the very birth of the series, by the "need" for an agressive and proud race to be the very best of friends with the namby-pamby UFP. All the menace, all the subtlety, just gone like a fart in a hurricane.
*Remains neutral in the growing conflict, but buys ABM system just in case*
Just watch STIII on TV

Back on topic. STIII can be divided into two sections the good and the bad.
The Good:
Everything that happens away from the Genesis planet - stealing the Enterprise, breaking McCoy out of the funny farm (personally I love Sulu in that one =), and of course Scotty sabotaging the Excelsior
The Bad:
Everything that happened on the Genesis planet. From some of the all time stupidest blunders (leaving no one on the ship) to the hoakiest (Spock is aging in spurts with the Planet).
As odd movies go its okay, nowhere close to STII or STVI.

Well for the most part...it didn't really start the Klingon brain bug that much given that only the gunner was really bloodthristy...the captain and the main science officer were rational and devious beings.
TNG filled in much of the honor and other bullshit.
As for ST3...I still like it the best of the odd with STV behind it(ST:TMP was just too long)
