What do you guys think of this scenario: A friendly game between Gary Mitchell and Q is taking place. Gary plonks down WWII era German army in modern day Germany. The front line German equipment is instantly interchanged with modern day German equipment. (ie. Leopard II's, etc) but the reserves and secondary line remains WWII vintage. (For WWII vintage let's settle on Germany at the height of its development, Panthers, Tigers, etc) Their airforce is also replaced with modern day German jets, save for the reserve fighters which remain WWII vintage, but there will be a sprinkling of their jetfighters from the era. The navy remains modern day with all the WWII era battleships and subs added.
The German nation is completely mobilized for war as it was in WWII AND the complete army at the height of its size during WWII has been teleported into Germany.
The German leadership remains the same from WWII (Rommell, Model, etc) Adolf is in charge.
For the other side America is not allowed to intervene, a powerful energy field goes up around the European and North African area that allows no military vessels, equip, tech, troops, etc from outside enter BUT allows for commerce convoys and supplies to go to Europe.
A wild card: Any American troops and equipment already in Europe CAN fight, or they can opt to teleport to England they have a one time choice to do so at the beginning of the scenario, otherwise they're stuck on the continent with the new German army.
Europe is divided thusly: Italy joins Germany as Mussolini also appears in Rome to seize control of the new Roman empire. Italian equipment will follow the same rules as German equipment.
France, Belgium, Netherlands, Chezsolvakia all have the modern day equipment that they have now. They have exactly the size armies and deplyment as they do now. Adolf will NOT deal with them, UN , etc. In other words there will not be a diplomatic solution, only aggresive negotiations allowed
Adolf has a time limit, he needs to conquer Europe in three years before the energy shield drops and US can intervene. Russia immediately signs a non aggression pact with Germany but Europe can try to influence them to join in at any time.
Oh, with one last wink from Q, all nukes on the continent are deactivated.
If you want to broaden this scenario, we can also add a newly resurgent Japan, but let's focus on the European scenario.
