Oh yay! Hollywood has topped my list of places to vape with a space-mirror when I become global dictator.

Do you think they'll get the hint to stop force feeding us the celluloid equivalent of faecal matter when they are "tanning" at a nice 1000 degrees C?

Scary Movie was good, but Scary Movie II blew.

Maybe Scary Movie III will be good. And maybe flaming hyenas will boil forth from my nostrils.

I hope they make something good. A lot of the new movies that are coming out are either remakes of old movies or sequels... and usually the sequels aren't quite as good unless they were meant to have one from the beginning.
Scary movie 3, hmmmm, I might just watch it to see if they have a spoof of "The Others" or "Frailty".
BTW, has anyone seen Frailty? that movie was hilarious!

SMII was about what a sequal should be, but I liked 1 more.

And dalton, I fully intended to come in this thread and post no it's not, then I read the part about Kevin Smith, now it might be ok.

It has been up above When Harry met Lloyd: Dumb and Dumberer, in movies that might suck but I'll watch.

I saw the steaming pile of crap they called Scary Movie in theaters and vowed never to watch it again. I held to this when Scary Movie 2 came out. Word from almost everyone I've talked to is that it sucked too. However Kevin Smith is a genius. It's amazing what suttle references happen to appear in his movies. I might actually watch the next one. MIGHT.

I don't really have a problem with Smith's writing; it's his editing. There were a lot of really bad cuts in Dogma, but the writing basically saved the film.
