Somewhere along the film, I started to tremble violently with all the disfunctional new scenes and character assassination attempts. In order to preserve my sanity and not alarm the girl I was with, I just made myself ignore everything as not canon. And enjoy the good parts of the film (Thankfully, the majority)

Anyway, about dwarves and sex. According to the books, women dwarves must be ugly as hell. There's every reason to assume that they try interracial mixing every time the occasion arises.

That explains the happiness in Gimli's face when he said Galadriel had given him not one, but two. The bastard.

I have never watched the Dungeons and Dragons movie all the way through, so I don't know if you are correct.
The reference I thought I was making was to Blackadder, second series first episode "Bells" by Lord Flasheart in regards to Baldrick who was dressed as a bridesmaid.
