Free Web space?

Post by Darth PhysBod »

Is it possible to get free web space any longer? If so any recommendations?

I'm looking to put up ~5MB of images plus a small (<1MB) divx clip.

If you have a fast broadband connection (i.e. over 128 KB/sec up, whatever down) and an older computer that you aren't using anymore, you can get FreeSCO and set it up. It serves as a router as well as a server.

That's how I'm hosting most of my stuff now. I'm kind of fed up with the so-called "free" services. However, some technical expertise (such as a little *nix experience) is required...
