Christ, and they tried to raid Koresh anyway? Someone nominate those
guys for a Darwin award. If I recall correctly, a large majority of
ATF's casualties in the initial raid were from their own agents
shooting themselves or other ATF agents.

Actually IIRC there was also the TV journalist who found out about the raid, then called ahead to the Branch Davidians to give them a "heads up" about it, then tagged along with his crew in order to get a good story when the inevitable shooting started. Thats the person who should be shot.

I like the way some of the pro-Koresh crowd bitch that it was all over a measly $200 in fines. If it was, then why didn't those fuckers just pay it, instead of pulling out guns and shooting people over it? Why do we blame the government for coming to enforce its laws? We can say they could have done it better, but to whine that the fine was small just puts more blame on the Davidians in my opinion.

Produce the damn fucking DOOR from the Davidan compound and then we'll
find out who shot first due to the holes in it....

Oh that's right. We can't find it, because it mysteriously disappeared at
the same time they BULLDOZED the fucking place down right after it
burned down....before even waiting for a forensenics team to go over
and tell us WTF happened...

In every case where ARSON is suspected, the police are supposed
to leave the place as intact as possible so the arson investigators can
pinpoint the cause of the fire...instead, the FBI bulldozed the place
to the ground..
