Plecter Labs lightsabers?

For a while I've been toying with the idea of buying some of the components on Plecter Labs' website and assembling them into a lightsaber body prop I was planning on building myself out of some scrap aluminum pipe and stainless steel bar stock I happened to pick up.

I haven't ordered anything of any value off the internet before, not even Ebay, so I'm pretty cautious and I wouldn't mind getting a bit of advice from other people. Is there anyone who has had any experience with Plecterlabs before? If so, has it been good, bad, or what? Did you get what you expected, what were your expectations, and why? Did you feel the price you paid for them was worth it? And also, do you have any tips on assembling this lightsaber as well?
