Better than the #*@#%@$^ Vodoni. Lycanthropes with bloodlust (think about a werewolf barbarian for a moment and tell me you don't want to change your underwear). Besides, even an nautiloid only carried about a dozen mind flayers. Yes, they're bad, but not impossible to take out.

Mind Flayers otherwise known as Illithids. They are creatures from the underdark with tentacled heads, and psionic abilities. They eat brains and make POWERFUL mages and psionicists.

As succintly as possible, illithids, or mind flayers, are a hermaproditic bipedal cephaloid race. They are of average human height, have three-fingered hands with an opposable thumb, have webbed feet with two lobes, and their heads resemble an octopus with four tentacles. They have a wide variety of psychic powers, the "mind flayer" part coming about because they can assume total control other sentient life with these powers.

And no, I will not bring D&D into the Vs. debates, because a 200GT TL is clearly "the winnah!"
