On the whole, I'd rather have the freedom to succeed or fail on my own than be kept on someone else's leash.

Man being a social animal, however, I suspect the best course lies somewhere between the two. But from my personal point of view, let it lean toward freedom.

Which is why I'm fiscally conservative. Real life has and always will be about what you can make yourself. No one can make you anything or fix you so you won't fuck up yourself.

As for socially conservative...

How about no. I think my business lies in my own life and not other people's bedrooms. Assholes.
