What do you think of the newest addition, "Lupin III"? I think it's pretty damn funny, even if the animation's kind of crappy. I like the music, too.

I agree, although I'm VERY pissed that they're cutting more and more of the theme songs, like Toonami does.

Lupin III as in Castle of Cagliostro and Lady Liberty?

Those films rock, I saw the former the other day again. Reminds me of an old animé Spike and Jet.

Lupin III was a big inspiration for Cowboy Bebop.

And I love that series. I have been awaiting the airing ever since I heard about CN getting the airing rights. Although I don't particularly like Lupin's dub voice, and the fact that they talk a bit fast sometimes, it's quite good. I just hope it's subtitled on the DVDs as well. *crosses fingers*

Lupin III? I've seen it in the listings but haven't watched it. Maybe I shall give it a look.

Oh yeah, that's 1:00 EST, so if anyone reading this in in the same situation as Nitram, adjust if necessary.

Bah, bring on Sealab 2021 and Aqua Teen Hunger Force!

If they want to show quality anime, bring back Voltron, dammit!

Oh, god, not again! I'M SICK TO BLOODY DEATH OF LUPINS! We sleep on lupins, we eat lupins, we even wear the bloody things! For the last few days, we've had nothing but lupin soup, roast lupin, steamed lupin, boiled lupin, lupin salad! The cat's just choked to death on one!!!

Sorry, but BBC America ran the "Dennis Moore" episode of Monty Python last night. Couldn't resist. 8)

That would be Zoids. The third, sillier series. Make sure your disbelief is firmly suspended when watching, and you'll find it enjoyable.

But yes, Inu-Yasha comes on right after Lupin now.

Basically, it now goes:

Lupin
Inu-Yasha(Picking up where it left off)
Yu Yu Hakusho(Restarted)
Cowboy Bebop(Restarted, Ballad of Fallen Angels should be on Monday)

I watched about 10 minutes of it, looked like an older version of Cowboy Beebop. Animation sucks, but I can live with that.

It looks like it was made in the '70s, it certainly sounds like it, I've seen era cars and no anachronisms to suggest otherwise. The story is pretty good too. Besides anything with animation better than the original MSG is better than none.
I wonder if any new eps of YYH will be shown I was wondering what happened after the Saint Beasts. Of course, being a stingy guy, I don't go after DVDs or vids of animé, thus cable is my only source, and I wish that more Tenchi Muyo episodes could be dubbed or even plain subtitled and shown on Toonami or AS.

The only Tenchi that hasn't been aired on Cartoon Network are the movies. They've gotten the OVA, and both TV series. Lupin III was pretty funny, even though I didn't see all of it. Say, what Inu-Yasha episode is it?

Well considering that it was made in 1976...

I liked Castle of Cagliostro. I watched it about eight years ago and didn't know the guy was Lupin until around last month.

Well, true, but give Big West some time, the judges only recently smacked down Harmony Gold and said they can't forbid the importation of Macross. I've only seen a bootleg, fan-sub version of DYRL, Robotech, and Macross Plus (both OVA and episodic...own the epsiodes).
