Yesh, hopefully sooner, but likely later. For some reason, people like stupid reality shows. Good shows were cancelled to make way for stupid reality shows. Just like waaay back people used to like stupid western shows.

I demand some content, and some fucked up shit too. I'll just be picky and hope to god some celeberties get fucked in the process.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

The point at which a once-good show begins to go downhill. I believe the phrase comes from the episode of Happy Days where the Fonz jumps over a shark on waterskis.
Then should I site for Irony factor the last season of the X-Files having a fight club rip off called "Jump The Shark"

The scariest folk song lyrics are "My Boy Grew up to be just like me" from cats in the cradle by Harry Chapin

I think there was a book that popularized the term "jump the shark".

Actually it sorta became popular...I think the guy's website chronicles the thought/slang it came to be...somewhere.
