Meh. To get this thread moving again:

My post from the Care Bear Thread by Solid Snake:

How well would the Care Bears do in an orgy with the disney ladies?

Would they be capable of spreading the luv or would they crap
out after 30 seconds of stroking by Ariel, Jasmine, Belle, etc?
OK, this has just gotten out of hand. This is darker than I am...enough with the Care Bears!

As far as Shrek goes, Farquaad's castle is supposed to be a spoof of Disney World, with the castle, cobblestone streets, and puppet citizens, not to mention the themed parking lots ("Lancelot"). This sort of Disney spoofing should be expected, though. One of DreamWorks founders is an ex-Disney employee, and two of Shrek's four writers also wrote Aladdin.

Farquaad is supposed to resemble Mike Eisner in face, voice, and temperament (my friends report from experience that the temperament is right). Jeffrey Katzenberg, DreamWorks' executive, is a former Disney employee who departed in a rather non-amiable fashion, largely due to Eisner. Eisner kept referring to Katzenberg as a "midget." Apparently, Katz decided to return the favor .
