need help with bounty hunter

i'm currently playing star wars bounty hunter and i am stuck on the second level of chapter six (the one where you need to reach vosa's temple) if anyone has any stratagies(sp?) that work on the massed hordes of bando gora thugs please post them because when you have two dozen bando gora charging you like rabid fundies on speed you don't survive very long
