Taking a board argument into real life is going a bit far. What started on the Internet should STAY on the Internet.
I am capable of rearranging the fundamental building blocks of the universe in under six seconds. I shelve physics texts under "Fiction" in my personal library! I am grasping the reigns of the universe's carriage, and every morning get up and shout "Giddy up, boy!" You may never grasp the complexities of what I do, but at least have the courtesy to feign something other than slack-jawed oblivion in my presence. I, sir, am a wizard, and I break more natural laws before breakfast than of which you are even aware!

Its merely a case of a bunch of electric pulses going down the same copper wire being interpreted differently.

I have 20/20 vision as well, and I can hear just fine too.

Anyway, I'm sure after you call him, he'll never answer the phone again.

Although I recognize that Sheppard's use of the relay system thingy is valid, I think I should point out that anyone else who might think to use it for shenanigans should think again.

somethingawful.co* nearly got nailed BIG TIME because some people on the forums started using the relay system to fuck with people. Lowtax avoided legal trouble, but a lot of people were banned from the forum that day. (although that thread was fucking hilarious to read)

You know, I held out a faint hope for a while that he was just knowingly being a jack-ass, and not sincerely delusional. I have since lost that hope; he is truly, sincerely out of his gourd. He thinks he's fighting some grand crusade against the forces of evil. I don't see how any conceivable action can possibly make it any worse.
Oh--well, in that case, I'm off to just go kill him. See ya!

To the thread? I didn't save a link to that thread, sorry. It was a few months ago I think.

Search terms... probably "sprint relay system" or something like that.

To be more accurate, goons were calling each other with the relay system and generally messing with the operator... being as silly, obscene, and stupid as they could be. Although I do remember one goon who messed with this Korean(?) restaurant... god that one was hilarious.
