Some questions for Mandrake Linux users here:


Which do you prefer,

KDE 3

or

Gnome2?



Second: is there a master volume control thing somewhere? I got sound but the volume's too low sometimes.
What's her bust size!?

KDE3 blows away GNOME. It's a complete desktop environment, not just a bunch of disjointed tools thrown together.

As for the sound, try kmix.

KDE is far superior, it's much more professional (I think it used to be pseudo-commercial). Gnome on the other hand is a mess, and it's bloated to boot.

KDE. I never liked Gnome. Even when KDE was only 1.0 I preferred it.

KDE is far superior to Gnome, though I have both installed so that I can play with various things like Ximian Evolution.

Well GNOME was good enough, that SUN decided to make it the default desktop of Solaris.


You may draw whatever conclusions from the previous sentance that you see fit......
