I figured as much. It's only quoting Democrats so far, but Republicans are probably complaining to the White House through back channels. Republican congressmen and senators don't like getting dicked around and lied to by the executive branch any more than Democratic congressmen and senators do, and that's exactly what Asscroft's morlocks did. Come to think of it, the President's probably pissed off and Karl Rove may well be infuriated.

It would be intersting to see Ashcroft shove his way into power. After awhile, he'll be shot and dragged through the streets like Mussolini, and I for one would love to see that.
...This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old...ultraviolence.
