Simple, Bio-weapons can persist for weeks on most substances inculding wood, brick, and plastic siding, so if you want to make sure in case of a Bio-Chem Attack that your protected then wrap any areas you want with somthing that repels chemicals and is easily disposed of, like saran wrap

I hope they have a lot of food and that, if it were an Anthrax attack they could be living with spores for years. Meanwhile any other bioweapon would simply find other ways of surviving through idiots that hid in cardboard boxes or just infect animals.

If it was a chemical attack, something like VX would just melt the wrap and that stuff persists for years too and once it's stuck to something you're fucked unless you have thermite.

In short, saran wrapping your house is about as useful as using many fans to try and blow an attack away.

Also lets not forget that fun little requirement of humans....oxygen.....ventilation = hole in your kitchen based defence = the entire exercise being really really stupid.....unless of course you just happen to have some expensive air filtration system....though I'm sure there are plenty of paranoid nuts out there with them.....

I wouldn't put it past the most determined out there. They have guns a plenty, but they can't do shit with them if they're shitting their intestines out, so they no doubt have spent a good part of their salary on something to help them against terrorists or the gov't.
