a 1992 GMC Typhoon... to this day the quickest production SUV ever made... and if you take out the limiter, one of the fastest too. 0-60mph in 5.3 seconds, max speed (unlimited) around 150, skidpad G rating of .9 (can carve corners with vettes) etc etc....

unfortunately mine was stolen... WAHHHHHHH!!!!!

Depends on the area. Maximum speed limits on the US Interstate Highway System is 75 mi/hr, and usually much lower in urbanized areas.
actually there are places in Nevada and Montana where the posted limit is:
"safe and prudent" the state police will however pull you over if you are traveling at an "unsafe" speed.

Awww... I HATE thieves (but not as much as vandals). Some little VECK stole a motorcycle of mine some years ago and ran it around, generally wrecking it (I'm surprised that the insurers bothered paying to fix it - must have cost more than a new one) and dumped it in a hedge. The only reason they didn't burn it was that they had run it out of petrol.

I hope the person who stole your SUV dies an agonising, lonely, drawn-out death after crashing his own car.

as do I... it took the cops 3 days to find what was left of it... the insurance agent said it was the most thoroughly stripped vehicle he had ever seen. Im suprised they could even find the VIN.

The Bastards.

..but they'll get theirs, one day, either in this life or the afterlife.
