Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls 96:85 (2:1)

Fun fact - since 2006, when the Heat won their lone title, the winner of Game 3 of the East title series has advanced to the NBA finals every time.

Rose was putting in good work but the Bulls just weren't bringing it from the 3rd on. It was embarrassing to watch.

Great comeback by Nowitzki.

The Mavs are the first team to rally from a 15-point deficit in the Finals since the Chicago Bulls against the Portland Trailblazers in 1992.

Definitely. When I saw the score was -15 for Mavs with 7:13 left to play, I thought they were going to trail 0:2 but later heard about that 22-5 run and close win ... wow, the Mavs did those kind of runs in the previous series too but in the Finals? :D

I just want the mavs to finally be champions. Nowitzki really deserves it, considering how many years he played at such a high level.

I caught the last six minutes and saw the score get tied and the Mavs win it. It was a beautiful thing.

Dallas Mavericks vs Miami Heat 86:88 (1:2)

Since the NBA went to the 2-3-2 format in the Finals in 1985, 11 series were tied 1-1 entering Game 3. All 11 times, the team that seized the 2-1 lead went on to win the championship. Hmmm.

It happened again: Mavs beat Heat in a 86-83 last-minute victory.
