MoO3 combat
i have it figured out, and frankly i don't understand why people are saying it is so bad. you can have quite a bit of tactical control over the fleet if you go manual, and the task group system can be to your advantage once you get the hand of it. I'll admit, coordinating several task forces in a battle is hard at first, but it fucking rocks once you get the hang of it. I keep one cheap unarmed ship in my design pool and use task groups of them as cannon fodder while i pummel opposing groups with long rance attack ships. i'm still getting used to it, but damn it's fun!

I was reading on the infogames forum that pickets and escorts with point defense will rarely engage with point defense against missles. There also seem to be some indications that there si some sort of trigger that is not happeneing to engage the point defense in such a fashion. It does seem to work very well against fighters at this time though...Raxmei wrote:What have you heard about missile/point-defense interaction that is amiss?
