So true. Oh well. At least Spurs vs Thunder should be fun to watch. :D

Except for the fact that David Stern doesn't give a fuck what I say because I spend zero income on the NBA. Not counting pitchers of beer purchased during games viewed at the bar. Last time I actually paid money for anything NBA related was...damn it was probably back well before I moved to California and I was one of millions temporarily on the Bulls bandwagon during the Jordan era.

Spurs and Thunder won't be that fun to watch because as much as I appreciate the Spurs and like Tim Duncan they are boring as hell to watch.

If you have been waiting at all in any year before this one then you must already have enough patience that one more decade, let alone one more year, will not matter. Although you're more like to see them as a #3 seed vs. #6 seed in the first round as opposed to a conference finals.

I was referring to Stern's penchant for responding to any criticism of officiating from NBA personnel by fining them. One postseason he even gave a "make my day" remark over it.

I hear you, it's just that Stern doesn't give a shit unless you are a big part of the NBA money train. Why else would he not give a fuck about small market teams for years until they threaten to hold the league hostage via the lockout? In his mind the sole purpose of the Milwaukee Bucks, Portland Trail Blazers, Charlotte Bobcats, etc... is to get their asses kicked by New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and any other huge market fielding multiple all stars so that said large markets can get into the playoffs and get at least 4 or as many as 28 more games each.

Good Example, when were ratings for the finals good in recent memory? Boston and LA. When were they bad? Cleveland and San Antonio.

Pittman and Haslem should have been ejected with flagrant twos. Disgusting behavior. Disgusting offciating but par for the course in David Stern's NBA. If the jerseys were reversed both players would have been tossed. I'm glas Sportscenter called out the league.

Only Six players in NBA history have put up triple doubles in a Game 7 situation. Now that list includes Rajon "Mr. Triple Double" Rondo. The kid has skills.

This was the Spurs' 20th straight win. They are the fourth team in NBA history to win at least 20 in a row and the only team to have its winning streak extend into the playoffs.

Note to the Lakers and any other team more talented than the Spurs but not nearly as successful. Coaching makes a fucking difference!

That series could go either way. My best guess is that home court advantage would determine that series, since NBA refs are spineless fucks and home teams seem to often have huge free throw attempt advantages over road teams. Just look at the Lakers/Thunder series 2 years ago and compare Kobe's free throw attempts vs Durants free throw attempts by venue. It's so disgustingly obvious that I am tempted to call it blatant by the officials.
