Scientology...the Bible-bar is a uniquely Christian capitalist product. Name one other group besides Christian capitalists who would market such a thing.
Other than that I agree with you Wong

Well, if you're saying that, then you best turn off your computer now and never access it again. While your at it, stop using electricity, and vacate your home. Oh yes, never go grocery shopping, eat nothing but wild animals and berries. Running water is hereby off limits, you must drink from the river. Then, when you get ill, don't bother seeking out medical care. When you have completely purged yourself of science and technology, then you may burn its books to keep warm out in the wilderness.Meghel wrote:What would YOU say if I said that all books on science and evolution should be used as a fuel source or toilet paper?

I think that covers your question.
Agreed. It is completely the opposite of what once consituted a pious individual. That is, if you were dirt poor you were consired more blessed than a rich person.Regarding Christian capitalism, there is a disturbing trend that I would call "success theology", which is becoming prevalent in certain denominations. In short, the wealth of a "faithful" person is a direct sign of blessing from God; therefore, such a person MUST be on the right path or they wouldn't have received such a blessing. That is circular reasoning at its finest. - General Trelane (Retired)
