Well. Here's another hurdle in the art of nation building. Could be a similar situation in post-war Iraq.

I wouldn't call Serbia a case of nation building. Its nothing of the sort.

Servia has nothing to do with Bagdad. It already had a strong educated, middle class, and a democratic history. The society is developed.

Bagdad has neither and has regressed to an ancient form of leader worshipping.

It's not extremely similar, I'm just pointing out that Iraq will likewise have a population of people not used to getting along having to get along, as well as large sections of the population still loyal to the outgoing dictator. I was just saying they're similarly sticky situations.
