Anyway, on the subject of diet drinks, I won't touch them with a ten foot pole. Aspartame is a fucking carcinogen besides tasting bad, so no thanks! There are a couple of diet drinks here that are sweetened with fructose (fuit sugar) instead of regular sugar, and they taste almost as good as normal soft drinks. People with diabetes can also drink them, iirc, because the digestive system handles regular sugar and fructose differently so they won't get a reaction from it.

On the subject of diet drinks: fountain diet drinks cannot contain aspartame because it will not pass through the system. I can't remember what they replace it with, but it's still equally as nasty.

Oh, and I get massive migrane headaches when I even have a swallow of a drink with aspartame in it.
