Why does God sound more and more like a Angrey College drop out who spends his days stoned?
Yeah, God has to be stoned. If he wasn't, the people who are planning this "mega-church" wouldn't be around.

It seems like churches are becoming more and more like casinos. They have all kinds of thing for familys to do, buffets, arcades, etc. And at the center of it all is the mainfloor where people just shove their money into the collection plate and think nothing of it. And they do it week after week until it becomes an obsession.

Churches have those things?! I never even dreamed of churches having any of that. That's weird...

My God...the churches you have in your community are horrible. I put money into things clearly labeled, such as "Poor Box."

I am talking about the huge churches in the article on the 1st page. And they have all of those things, maybe not the buffets.

And the congregation is like a casino, people throw money away and it is spent on things like bigger churches.

At least casinos have showgirls.

To be fair, the church is more like a giant community center.

Still, while I'm moer than happy to have church/daycare/school combos, I have to wonder why they have a coffee shop and stores inside. I mean... Why?

I suppose one could make an arguement that the church had a lot of spare money, but why not put it into good deeds rather than buding a minimall?

One of the towns I grew up in had a mall named A.T.P.I.C Mall.
It stood for "All Things Possible In Christ". Otherwise it was a regular mall but man did the name give me the creeps.

Why don't they put a Chinese restaurant in, and call it "Wok With Jesus"? Why don't they just go straight to a "Mega Mega Church", which seats 100,000, and has an international airport?
