A Jewish Conspiracy?

I'm being a little fecetious with the title, but I'm not sure what else to call it.

Sitting around last night I listened to the Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat soundtrack. Then thought about it. And was shocked.

How many goddamn movies, plays, musicals etc about Jewish tradition? Lots.

What if I went and made a Disney-esque cartoon about the life of the Prophet Muhammed (see Prince of Egypt for an obvious parallel). I'd be rounded up and in Camp X-ray for being an Al'Qaeda sympathiser before you knew it.

What about a Disney version of the life of Buddha? The fundies would be blockading the cinema's world wide.

Why then is it socially acceptable to make so much about one myth but socially unacceptable to portray others?
