Yeah when they re-wrote the character of Hammond for Jurassic Park, they changed him from a greedy bastard to a somewhat misguided but still caring, kindly old man. And he nailed it.

He was in so much more than just that one movie. Baron Sir Richard was a director, stage actor, screen actor, and pilanthropist, who could take even the smallest role and make it unique. We will probably never see his like again.
