I've recently been trying to learn some Russian for use with a group of friends, and I'm having trouble getting Cyrillic characters to display on our BBS (its PHP, like sd.net). From what I've read, I thought the problem might be the encoding. I haven't been able to 1) find out what encoding to use and 2) how to use that encoding. The only type I've been able to get to work is Unicode, and apparently websites don't like it Any help out there?
EDIT: Apparently the Unicode Cyrillic works fine here.

Thank youfgalkin wrote:I use Cyrillic: Windows for IE. KOI8-R works, too. There isn't any difference between them on this board, but some Russian sites support either one, or the other.
Have a very nice day.
