Yes, they're attention whores, and being famous isn't enough. That's why some of them steal. However, irony doesn't come in and put them in jail where they'll be forgotten. Well, that's usually the case. There's possibly some exceptions out there.
And celebrities also have a problem with expressing their religous views too. They always seem to say someting that translates to something like "I believe that there is a god, and that it is me".
