toasted toaster: they say i might be able to get eye transplants, because it's the problem in my retna, not my brain.

I've never heard of a full eye transplant. Corneal transplant, yes, but not the whole eyeball. And a detached retina is a fairly common condition, and easily treated (though it can lead to blindness if left untreated). I dunno, dude--it's so horrible it would be a sick fucking joke, but the details don't seem right.
