Post by Hamel »

My friend, Doogan, lives up in Detroit
Oh fuck I didn't see this one coming

toasted toaster: hey yo
A11YourBas3: huk huk hukity huk in the doogan fuk
A11YourBas3: kekeke
toasted toaster: my vision is going
A11YourBas3: holy shit no way
A11YourBas3: how and why
toasted toaster: doctor says i'll probably be blind by the time i'm 25
toasted toaster: genetic
A11YourBas3: you cant be serious
A11YourBas3: what a bad joke
toasted toaster: yea it sucks
A11YourBas3: no seriously, a bad JOKE man
toasted toaster: it's not a joke, yo
A11YourBas3: fuuuuuuuuuuuck
toasted toaster: so i'm gonna have to get screen readers and shit for my computer
toasted toaster: probably have to learn braille
A11YourBas3: when your doctor said blind, does he mean completely blind
A11YourBas3: as in no vision what so ever
toasted toaster: yes
A11YourBas3: gawd
toasted toaster: my retna is detatching from the nerves inside
A11YourBas3: no fucking way
toasted toaster: i know that's what i said.
A11YourBas3: how is your vision doing right now
toasted toaster: i went into the eye doctor office and i got the news, and i'm like that sucks....
toasted toaster: it's okay right now.
A11YourBas3: is there any possible treatment or prevention
A11YourBas3: ?
toasted toaster: it's not blurry or anything... i just squint a lot because it seems lighter by day
toasted toaster: they say i might be able to get eye transplants, because it's the problem in my retna, not my brain.
toasted toaster: but it is very expensive
toasted toaster: like 90-100k $
A11YourBas3: gack
toasted toaster: pisses me off
A11YourBas3: that's crazy~ i've never, ever heard of any eye disease that causes that
A11YourBas3: and furthermore, nothing of of hereditarial origins being that severe

A11YourBas3: what does your family think about it
toasted toaster: if my vision does go, i'll probably just end up suicidal in a mental hospital, because that sucks so bad
A11YourBas3: i imagine they don't feel so good
toasted toaster: they say they'll support me in every way they can, and i can live at home as long as i need to
toasted toaster: my great grandfather had the same thing
toasted toaster: but just picture me... running into trees and shit with a white cane, forgetting how to spell the alphabet
A11YourBas3: everything is blurry as a whore without my glasses~
A11YourBas3: fuuuuck
toasted toaster: because braille is all phonetic
A11YourBas3: doogan, i think you'll still be doogan without your vision
toasted toaster: i'll be blind-fuck doogan
A11YourBas3: er
toasted toaster: i wonder if i should practice days of being blind
toasted toaster: i'll piss all over the place in the bathroom, won't know my way around the house, fall down the steps, mix up my money
toasted toaster: all that good stuff
toasted toaster: damn this SUCKS!!
[00:02] toasted toaster: i handled it pretty well yesterday when i found out, but today i'm all flipping out... thinking of all the things i won't be able to do without vision

Tell me, am I being played?
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. I've never heard of a full eye transplant. Corneal transplant, yes, but not the whole eyeball. And a detached retina is a fairly common condition, and easily treated (though it can lead to blindness if left untreated). I dunno, dude--it's so horrible it would be a sick fucking joke, but the details don't seem right.
