I never said that Texas is perfect. Neither did I attack the whole of California just because some of the people are bad, which is exactly what you did with Texas. I fully realize and accept that there are plenty of shitheads here, but I also realize that the total population is higher and that the moron density is not significantly different from the rest of the country.

But anyways, Texass is too polluted for my tastes~ Normally, the flat land allows winds to freely sweep away pollution, but the nasty air is so freakin heavy, even this natural cleansing mechanism fails

Their are a million people in this city, and I think this is one of the best metropolian comunities in the USA. We had 25k(people not meters) Komen Race for the cure saterday, we have large charities to provide fans for the poor during the summer. But as for being Texas, this is just as likely to happen in New York or California or Florida. Hell, people act like Texas is full of gunfighters and dumbasses. It has its share, sure, as does any other state, or country.

Do you have statistics on the average likelihood of religious fundamentalism vs postsecondary education in Texas as opposed to the rest of the country? I'm curious how you know their ratio is identical to everyone else's ratio, since we all know how unreliable anecdotal evidence is.

There are not that many.

Where I live is basically a colony of young professionals and their kids. Pinellas County is pretty young and active compared with much of the rest of Florida.

We have glorious beaches and much to do. Come...you know you want to.
