Woohoo! The Maple Leafs take philadelphia to town with an impressive 5-3 victory. What's more interesting is that the Leafs were outshot 30-15 by those suckas from Philly!

That happens every year; they get outshot every game but they still win enough games to make it into round 2. Not that I'm unhappy about the victory or anything, but there's a certain sense of deja vu about all this (oops, maybe I should say "Freedom Vu", in order to avoid the use of the French term

)

In more important hockey news, the Red Wings will own the Anehiem (sp?) Mighty Ducks tomarrow at 7:00PM on UPN. I can't wait to see how long those Leafs last in the playoffs; maybe they'll getluckyand get a chance to lose to the Red Wings. Only time will tell.

Then fear not citizen. The Wings losing to the Ducks? Ha! Ha I say! Sure it happened once, but that was a fluke. I assure you, now that the victories are absolutely neccesary - it being the playoffs and all - the Wings will be hauling ass every step of the way.
