Hey I remember that one of my teachers used the word 'cracker' in a sentence! I feel deeply offended, marginalized I intend to write letters to my member of parliament! No offense was meant by using the word 'member'.

Sadly, this is not the first time this has happened. A few years back, the mayor of Washington, D.C. let a staffer go for using the word in a private meeting.

That's ridiculous! That word is not only completely different from the racial slur, it is also SPELLED differently, and comes from a completely different root. WTF? And it is COMPLETELY proper English. Why was anyone offended? Why didn't they just explain what "niggardly" actually means, and why wouldn't the kids accept that explanation and agree that the word was reasonable?

I lived in South Carolina where I swear my science teacher couldn't speak one word of proper english. This just pisses me of to no end.

My high school English teacher, bless his soul, was a chauvanist! He argued that using "he/she" was improper and that "he" would suffice. If he ever saw "he/she" in a sentence he would deduct half a mark. Of course, all the fembos were up in arms over the ordeal. Anyways, tell your English teacher to stop being such a pussy!

that is the weird thing, He keeping on bitching on being old and rough and tough and that complaining about everything makes him a Macho man, something He takes every chance to show, he is very rude and thinks that he has the right to be constantly angry at the world. yet as I stated that jerk belvies the use of He/she is sexist, very ironic as he keeps a very rude and rough atitude towards the world.
