It's Manson week on Kerrang! tv here in the UK. I watched it with my wee god son and taught him the important things like how to do the horns and how to headbang without your glasses falling off. Shame was as soon as Manson came on the poor chiled wailed his lungs out.

I've always appreciated Mechanical Animals. I listen to it all the time not a bad track on it. It was the CD that got me over being dumped by my 2nd fiance. In particular the song Speed Of Pain.

Ive often listened to that one just before dawn. when everything is quiet, no traffic, it's . . . eerie. I like big white world, myself, tho rock is dead is not to be missed.

Well, the one known as ivan says it's alright, but not as good as the last 3.

Personally i quite like that mobscene video, and the song. My fave album was Holy wood, i think it goes really well as an entire album.

What about the new deftones album? They're like my second fave band.

The lastest issue of Spin (June), the "75 sleazy moments in rock" issue, has an interesting interview with MM, where he speaks of smoking human bone and his own penis. (but not together, that'd just be crazy)

This q/a had me rolling on the floor...
Spin: Who were sleazier: Black Sabbath at their craziest, or Marilyn Manson at their craziest?

MM: I gotta give up to Ozzy. I was with him on New Year's Eve, and I don't think I can outdo him. Ozzy has snorted ants. I once snorted Sea-Monkeys. What's the barometer on that? I have no idea.
(I'm not slamming him, I get a big kick out of his style. I like a lot of his music too and will probably check out his latest album.)

I will seldom listen to mechanical animals. When Manson started trying to go all " david bowie " is when i got out of that kinda music for a while.
