Done With Finals, Moving Back Home

As of 7:00 PM Central time I have been done with my second year finals (end of year exams/papers for you Limeys, thanks innerbrat).

So after sleeping in this morning, I'm going to be packing up the stuff in my dorm room. My dad will arrive sometime later today, like around 8:30, to load it all up and head back home to Cedar Rapids for the Summer. I'll be able to get back to a lot of things like drawing, reading, writing, and model building.

My sister graduates from law school tomorrow, and then on Tuesday my parents head out to London for her wedding. Utsanomiko and I will pretty much be alone for something like a week or two.

Congrats on finishing the year. Is the move back home a happy one, or would you rather stay on campus for the summer?

I have my exams coming up, one three hour exam on the 10th and one on the 25th and 26th then that's it. But I'll stick around for a week or so after for fun. :D

Hmmm. School ended 2 weeks back. Why are you guys finishing so late? Oh well, we probably started 2 weeks before you guys :)

Well, seeing as the University of Iowa's policy is that if you're not out by 7 PM on Saturday, they will throw you out, I'd say I really have no choice in the matter. :)

But yes, I'm very happy to go back home. I am so looking forward to being able to regularly sleep in my own bed, eat nice food, drink good water, and live in a big house. :mrgreen:
