You got that part a bit wrong about that part. The Byzatine empire pretty much fell at 1453 when constanstinople fell which was pretty much was all that was left of it except for a few areas in greece which were taken in a few years.

It's not my place in life to make people happy. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to watch me slaughter cows you hold sacred. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to have your basic assumptions challenged. If you want bunnies in light, talk to someone else.
In defense of US troops, Alot of unit pride goes into telling "war stories". I had a buddy who was recuirted to help train some SAS guys in Britian. All of the opfor were guys in telecom, against one of the worlds preimere spec ops teams, and they won in almost every senior given. THESE ARE COM TROOPs. Does this mean US com troops are equal to SAS, hells no. So war stories are just that stories. There is most likely alot of true facts that are present in stories, but you do not know the whole truth.
About US equipment breaking down, it does happen alot, but not nearly as much as everyone elses. About planes being in the hanger, yes this is true because of preventive maintence, and little things that in a time of war will be over looked. When we did inspections on trucks, if a light was out it had to go into for maintience. When there was a chip to large for the paint, it had to go in for maintence. I am sure aircraft is even more sensitive then trucks.

Why do you insist that you know anything about roman history?
You are one of these idiots that erent ben hur, and watch the gladiator, think you know everything, or anything.
Alright since you know some roman catch phrases, lets see if you can get this easy one.
what is the "coursus honorum"?
It's 'Cursus Honorum'
and it is the carrer of a magistrate (govenment official, Quaestors, aediles and so on.).
I made one comment, and you feel a need to attack me on several threads, while still being unable to refute my original point.
