Can we bribe Mr. Wong into writing his fanfic?

Post by Nova Andromeda »

--As we all know "Reign of Terror" hasn't had a new chapter for some time now. I suspect this is more to do with Mike's lack of time rather than writer's block. Therefore, I would like to know how many of us would bride the author with a donation of $1.00 (U.S.) to write another chapter.

Clicking on the Paypal button might convince Mike as well as get you a custom title...

--History suggests that would not get me a custom title. Besides the title I have isn't terribly offensive and I'm not sure any title he would give me would be all that flattering.

I would if I could, but I have no way of getting it to him, short of posting a $1 coin to Canada.

PayPal doesn't accept truly international orders, only from a handful of countries.

That's why I haven't been able to buy a certain cool shareware game called Superstar, even though it only costs 6 dollars.

I'm glad the American dollar is stronger than the Canadian, or else I wouldn't even think about it. First things first though, I have to decide whether my allowance should be spent bribing Mike, or saving up for a CD player.................

I'll give Mike a whole FIVE dollars, in AMERICAN money no less, to just up and finish the damned thing.

The Simpsons, when Homer is visiting the CN Tower. He's told that the tower is closing, so he offers the worker $1 US. The worker's response is quoted above.

EDIT: Oh, and I'll take chocolate chip, thank you.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

Well no, not technically since PayPal is a donation. He's not making money off of StarWars or StarTrek really, but rather people giving him money for free.

As much of a BS joke as my last comment was...

What fucking planet are you from, that you think all PayPal transactions are donations of no legal standing?

I don't think one dollar will convince Mike to finish writing, unless it's a dollar's worth of prono or buttsex or something.

One dollar each from the regs and Wong'll probly have a good $200 US on his hands.

Of course, some regs'll probly pony up anywhere from a buck to a hundred! I've seen it.

/me really REALLY needs to get a debit card, a bank account, and a job.

I have the bank account, but no debit card or job.

Let's meet half way. You get the job, and put the money in my bank account. Then I'll get the debit card.

See, we each both go get something, and we each contribute something. I get a debit card, and you get a job. I contribute the bank account, and you contribute the money.

Seems like an excellent system to me. :D
