Wow, you named your tank after the ship in my fanfic? I feel greatly honoured.

I (and everyone else, I'm sure) look forward to seeing all your pictures. My sincerest condolences on any friends you lost while you were there.

Welcome back! Glad to hear you are okay. Be proud of the job you Marines did. You went farther in land than your doctrine would indicate you should. As usual, Marines get the job done.

And warm welcome back to someone who just risked his life, while the rest of us arm chair commanders debated the topic. Glad to see you back man.

Welcome Home!

You're a tank commander?

A Marine tank commander?

And you named your tank Crimson Blade?

That is so very fucking cool! I'm sure a lot of what you've been through has been hard as hell, but it's really great you're back.

Oh, and, outstanding job!!!!!

Guyver,

Excellent work upholding the traditions of Marine tank commanders from
Tarawa, to Iwo Jima, Okiwana, Korea, Vietnam, and Gulf War I... :D

I read a book a long time ago about Marine tankers, and how they used
their M4 Shermans as ad-hoc ambulances on Iwo Jima or Okiwana by
driving over wounded Marines, and then pulling them up inside the
tank through the emergency escape hatch in the bottom of the hull,
and then taking them down the hill towards a medical station...that
took guts on all sides, from the tankers to the grunts who had to stay
calm and trust in the tank driver not to run over them in the process...

Cool, a tanker, my mom loves tankers, my mom wishes she could be a tanker (her father was a full bird army tanker, with three daughters one of which is a life long elemental force tomboy.

Congradulations on getting back from seeing the elephant. My Cousin is a Bradley Driver still in Baghdad (I THINK he's in the 3ID, but I can't be sure.) Most we've seen from him (besides letters) is when he was walking by in the background on CNN wearing those ass-ugly shades he always wears and chewing Bazooka bubble gum.

Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

Did you get to see the Marines helping take down that statue of Saddam with a (I believe) tank recovery vehicle in Baghdad that played ever so big over here?

And condolences the the friends you lost over there...

BTW, where's your Reserve unit based at?

Good job, Warrior, and I'm glad you took the tank job I didn't have the affinity for. I'm a grunt at heart...

I'm looking forward to the photos. I got to see some pix from the guys my Reserve unit sent over and it looks pretty rough. I'm glad you're in one piece and my respects to those who fell...

Welcome home.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

Welcome home, and thank you for serving our country! You made us all proud. My 7th grade teacher was in GW 1 and he saw some pretty hardcore shit on the Basra Highway. He would tell me these stories of the shit he saw, and I can only imagine you saw some bad stuff too. I admire and respect you for being tough and brave enough to soldier on through all that and come back safe and sound though. If you were here I would shake your hand. Congratulations on a job well done.
